For thousands of years, the Aymara people of the Andean Highlands have crafted moceno, tarka and zampoña flutes. This video shows the craftsmanship of three artisans from Walata Grande, Bolivia who market their instruments through Qantati, a Ten Thousand Village fair trade partner. The income from their work pays for education, medical care and better housing.
