7 Canadian graduates at MB Biblical Seminary


There were seven Canadians among the 25 graduates of the class of 2001 at Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary in Fresno, Calif. A commencement ceremony was held May 20.

Canadian candidates for the Master of Art degree were:

  • Ewald Unruh of Winnipeg, executive director of the Canadian MB Conference Board of Evangelism.

  • Anna Gossen of Abbotsford, B.C. Her career goal is marriage and family therapy.

  • Daniel Martens of Abbotsford. His career goal is ministry among Muslims.

  • Campbell Rowland of Niverville, Man. His career goal is leadership development.

  • Mark Veenstra of Hampton, Ont. His career goal is youth and child therapy.
Other program graduates

Lori Kantymir of Williams Lake, B.C. received a Master of Divinity degree. Her career goal is teaching and pastoral work. Robert Kroeker of Waldheim, Sask. received a diploma.
