Henry Neufeld has been appointed Stewardship Ministries representative of the Canadian MB Conference for Ontario, effective March 1, 2001. He comes to this ministry with a background in church lay leadership, education and business.

Neufeld is a charter member of Orchard Park Bible Church in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont., where he has served in many leadership and service capacities. For 10 years, he was an elementary school teacher. After that he pursued a business management career for another 22 years.

Alf Huebert, Stewardship Ministries director, states, “We look forward to having him use his gifts of spiritual leadership, sensitive enthusiasm, communication and organization in this position.”

Henry and his wife Anne have three married children and seven grandchildren.

Ross Hardy has resigned as Stewardship Ministries representative of the Canadian MB Conference for the territory of Saskatchewan, Alberta and northern British Columbia, effective February 28, 2001. He has served our Conference and churches for over six years.

Ross and his wife Olivia will continue to reside in Saskatoon, where Ross will assume duties as manager of the Saskatoon office for Mennonite Trust Ltd.

The Hardys are members of Forest Grove Community Church in Saskatoon.
