Alumni and friends of Concord College in Winnipeg gathered for Homecoming A Celebration of the Past, Present and Future, March 17-19.

site and an a cappella CD recording were highlights on Saturday.

A program in Redekopp Hall followed a fundraising banquet. The program included a presentation to the DeFehr Foundation for its support of the College. Shillington and John Martens chaired the evening, while Bill Baerg regaled the audience with tales from his experiences as a student and faculty member. Connie Epp, a graduating student, performed a dramatic presentation. The Red River Quartet enveloped the room with gospel music. The program emphasized the impact of the College on the community, alumni and students. The evening ended with all present singing “Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow”.

At the worship service Sunday morning, president John Unger shared the message and Gerry Ediger led the communion service.

The weekend brought laughter, tears and memories. As Concord College moves to its new campus, these memories will not be left behind. Lori Derksen
