New designer hired


Lorieann Mayer has been hired by the MB Herald and Mennonitische Rundschau to serve as publications designer, a position formerly held by Fred Koop. Fred has moved to Saskatoon, where he will begin his own graphic design practice. Lorie is from Winnipeg. She is married to Ralph and attends McIvor Ave. MB Church. She is a graduate of the Red River Community College Advertising Art Program and a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, a professional organization. Most recently she was employed by Fusion Communications Group Inc. as a graphic designer. She has also done design work for ChristianWeek and Sophia/Wisdom. This issue is Lorie’s first MB Herald. We welcome Lorie to our staff.
