Helmut and Betty Schmidt completed their ministry at Lake Errock (B.C.) Community Church at the end of January. They have actively served in the church for over 30 years, ministering as pastor couple for the past 16-and-a-half years.
Gary Burke has been serving as youth pastor at Leamington (Ont.) MB Church since June. Previously, he served as youth sponsor in churches in Alberta and Manitoba. He has a B.R.E. from Tyndale Bible College in Toronto and is working towards a master’s degree through Providence Seminary in Otterburne, Man. He is married to Beverley. She also has a B.R.E. from Tyndale Bible College.

Church Partnership Evangelism ran a door-to-door outreach campaign in India Nov. 4-29, covering about 20 villages with 11 teams. Twelve students from Shamshabad Bible School assisted the teams. Mary Macwan from Nagarkarnool and Thabetta, a student at Pune Union Theological Seminaries, helped with interpretation. In total, 2,260 people accepted Christ and were given Telegu New Testaments.
Dan Cody started serving as associate pastor of congregational life at Eagle Ridge Bible Fellowship, Coquitlam, B.C., effective Mar. 1. Previously, he was youth pastor for 11 years at Maple Ridge (B.C.) Baptist Church. He has a B.R.E. from Northwest Baptist College and an M.Min. from Northwest Graduate School of the Ministry in Seattle, Wash. He and his wife Leanne have four children, Nolan, 9, Brennan, 7, Dawson, 5, and Chelan, 3.
