Love Toronto is the national Key Cities Initiative under the direction of the Ontario Mennonite Brethren Conference Board of Church Extension and the Canadian MB Conference Board of Evangelism with a goal of planting five reproducing churches in the Greater Toronto Area.

The Baumans have served in the Mennonite Church of Eastern Canada Conference since 1980. Dale pastored Community Mennonite Church in Drayton, Ont., for nine years and pastored Elmira (Ont.) Mennonite Church for nine years. The past three years he has been working as a consultant for Evangelism, New Church Development and New Ministry Foundation for Mennonite Mission Network (the mission agency of Mennonite Church USA). The vision of being involved in a church plant in southern Ontario, particularly in Toronto, has been Dale’s personal vision for about 15 years. The Baumans have two sons  Jason, who is working in Scotland, and Jeff, who is completing high school this June.

The Fatunmbis have planted two churches in Nigeria, one in London, England, and recently one in Los Angeles. In Los Angeles, Femi worked with the Pacific South West Mennonite Conference of Mennonite Church USA. The Fatunmbis have four children and are currently residing in Niagara Falls, N.Y.
